“ Excellent...the best burger I have had in a while. If you haven't gad one you need to try it. We were extremely pleased with our food ”
“ You want to go where the locals do this is the most place. Hope you aren't bothered by waiting because it is usually busy because of how great the food and service is. ”
“ Stopped in for a hamburger as my Sis said they have the best. It was good not great. Fries were good too. Reasonable prices. Looks like they have good shakes, didn't have one. Would eat here again. ”
“ What a great place we ran into while camping at Lake Lopez. My family and I decided to head into the city and do a little window shopping when we came upon Old Village Grill. Tight from the start, it had a retro feel to it as the decor had an old school Boys Big Boy type, along with celebrities photos up on the wall w/inscriptions of how the burgers were the Best In Town. No doubt, I had to try a charbroiled Bacon BBQ Hickory Burger with fresh cut potato fries ( do t shoot the messenger as I don't like cheese on my burgers). Also, you have an options of drinks, such as sodas, juices or a cold refrigerated beer, so I decided to go with a corona. The staff was friendly to my family and I as we entered the establishment and was very helpful as we were first timers. When we placed our orders, it wasn't long before we received everything. Very quick! Fresh from the start and temperature hot as you received it. We decided to sit outside and enjoy the view and weather as the day was a perfect 75 degrees. As you reviewed the photos, alot of great items on the menu, it's really what your preference is, but the burger was spot on, steak salad was massive and possible feed two, fries were the bomb and onion rings as crispy and delicious as you would like. Definitely a spot I will come back to if I ever revisit Lake Lopez and or Arroyo Grande. Thank you ”
“ This place was already highly rated when we choose it and now we understand why. We will definitely be returning. The food was excellent. You order at the counter and then self-serve soda. Keep in mind that fries don't come with the burgers but even after adding them on it is a great value. ”
“ Had a very good Teriyaki Hawaiian Grilled Chicken sandwich. $10 We ate outside which was nice. Order at the counter. A good selection of entrees. ”
“ Stopped in for a salad & drink and was so glad I did. Ordered the Spicy Grilled Baja Salad. Full of the good stuff: avocado, tomato, spicy grilled chicken breast, onion, cheese & Jalapeños. Good servings of everything - except the cheese was a little lighter. (Ok with me, I'm not big on cheese) I ordered the dressing on the side & it was SPICY. I'm a lightweight so if you like spicy it's probably fine. The space was neat & clean & the service was excellent. The bathroom was clean but I couldn't get the toilet to flush. Not sure what was going on??? Loving being able to watch the street. Great little spot. Next time I want to try a sandwich. ”
“ Pretty cheap food. A $10 huge burger that I can't finish. And the food tastes good. I'm personally not a burger fan but this is okay. I wouldn't eat it often just because I don't like burgers. Cheap burger for central California and there are a lot of variety. I chose the Hawaiian burger because I wanted some fruit with sweet and sour taste in mh savory meat Service is great, self-serve. And there is a drink machine you can refill your water Parking can be hard so I recommend street parking or the lot across from the bridge. Overall I have nothing to complain so I will be back once in a while ”
